DJ, Producer and Author Mirko Hecktor a.k.a. mko is playing records since the early 90s. Hosting clubnights @ Cafe King and Pimpernel in Munich he teamed up with Deejays like DJ Stoopid (Wardrobe, Antipop), Tiga (Turbo), Upstart (Disko B), Mooner (Erkrankung durch Musique), Todd Sines, Mr. Metro, Chicks on Speed, Plemo, Tobi Neumann (Chicks On Speed rec.), Martin Matiske (Gigolo Int. Dj, Nico (Noze), Dani Siziliano (K7), Tom Mangan (Tsuba), Migumatix (Pasta), DJ Cam, Paris, Muallem (Compost), Peabird (Playagrande, K7), Ben Mono (Compost), Manuel Kim (Gomma), Metro Area, NYC, Johannes Volk (Lifeworld, Dontstop) and many more.

No regular Clubnites at the moment. Check out Facebook for local, national and international dates.

In November 2008 Blumenbar Distribution released his book »Mjunik Disco« on the last 60 years of Munich nightlife which was chosen three times as Bester Bildband 2008 by FAZ.

At the moment he is one part of the editorteam of Super Paper as well as a freelanced theater director/ Choreographer and freelanced author for the Capriccio culturemagazine of Bayerisches Fernsehen.
