Das sind Dose One, Jel und Dax aus San Francisco und machen Hip Hop fern ab jedem Klischees, veröffentlichen auf dem Anticon Label.
Auf ihrer ersten Europa-Tour 2001 zusammen mit Alias spielten sie u.a. auch im Grünen Raum vom Ultraschall (organisiert vom Club2), wo sie die Leute von The Notwist kennenlernten. Schnell war klar, man ist auf einer Linie. Auf den US Touren von The Notwist wurde eifrig supported, ein enger Kontakt entstand. 2004 entsand schließlich die Collaborations-Band 13 and God von Themselves und The Notwist. Aufnahmen wurden umher geschickt und bearbeitet, bis man sich schließlich in Weilheim traff, um ein Album auf Alien Transistor aufzunehmen.
