  • ALBERT VAN DER ROHLE ist/war ein Schlagersänger, der als Kunstfigur vom Sänger, Songwriter, Künstler und Schauspieler Albert Tempel für "Der Wahre Grand Prix" kreiert wurde.

  • "Der Wahre Grand Prix" war eine Satire-Gegen-Veranstaltung zum eigentlichen Grand Prix.

  • Im Filmhochschulen-Projekt "Flucht nach Schlagerland" (1994) (Regie - Stephanie Maier, Kameramann - Eddie Schneidermeier) war er mit seinem "Premiumfan", dem Aktions- und Performance-Künstler Wolfgang Flatz zu sehen (Albert sang darin das superschräge "Rosarot").

"Schmalz"-Schlager Projekte:

1993 -95

ENGLISH EXPLANATION:

  • ALBERT VAN DER ROHLE was meant and created by Albert Tempel, for an artificial "Schmalz"-Schlager singer, only for "Der Wahre(counter) Grand Prix" and the three songs were created and intended just for these events.

  • Albert Tempel (singer / songwriter / artist / actor) joined some collaborations as/aka ALBERT VAN DER ROHLE for a couple of art projects like the ironic-meant "Der Wahre(counter) Grand Prix" and a "Schmalz" - filmlet named "Flucht nach Schlagerland" (escape to schlagerland) (1994) (director - Stephanie Maier, cinematographer - Eddie Schneidermeier) with his "premium-fan", action and performance artist Wolfgang Flatz.

"Schmalz"-Schlager Projects:

1993 -95

  • 1993 "Der Wahre Grand Prix 1993", containing the song "Rosarot" (about: rosy lips, gazing at me) (succeeded position 3 by poll of jury and audience) performed by ALBERT VAN DER ROHLE (Eberhard J. Wormer/Albert Tempel/Olaf Gutbrod).

  • 1994 "Der Wahre Grand Prix 1994", containing the song "Ingrid" (about: "Ingrid", a woman´s name (could be also a ambiguity like "in greed")) (succeeded position 2 by poll of jury and audience) performed by ALBERT VAN DER ROHLE (Manuel Kerbl/Albert Tempel).

  • 1995 "Der Wahre Grand Prix 1995", containing the song "Fröhliches Herz" (about: an untroubled heart (also: easygoing/blitheful/brightly/cheery/jolly)) (achieved position 4 by poll of jury and "vainly" a higher demanded position by audience) performed by ALBERT VAN DER ROHLE (Uli Kümpfel/Harald Kümpfel/Christina Friedmann/Albert Tempel).

  • He took part in the first three years and finished his projected trilogy in 1995.

  • There were 5 CD´s produced and released for the public (1 per annum).

  • "Der Wahre Grand Prix was abandoned in 1997 when the presentation got more and more stuffy and boring because of taking it a bit too serious.

  • The beginning of "Der Wahre Grand Prix", in 1993, was initiated and produced by EBERHARD J. WORMER.
